Looking at all the content online promoting CBD, it’s as if the entire medical community has been conspiring to sell us prescription pills when all we needed was a natural cannabis extract to cure half of all known ailments. But saying that CBD can cure anything is pushing things. In the case of arthritis pain, it can help to improve mobility and increase the quality of life. Other conditions that may be treated this way include back pain, period pain, injury, and many more.

CBD May Reduce Your Anxiety

Cannabidiol has been described as non-psychoactive; which is not exactly accurate since it acts on your mental and emotional states, just like drugs like marijuana or opium. For instance, its action on pain – where it reduces pain sensitivity for people with chronic pain, means that and individual with arthritis or back pain may find that they don’t constantly wake up in the night from severe pain. Another way it impacts sleep is by reducing anxiety; which also may make it easier to fall asleep.

Having said that, don’t expect CBD to just trigger sleep or work like your average sleeping pills.
